The Roller is a high-ranking official in French Polynesia. He mingles with both the military personnel who often dock on the island and the local population, and he is found just as often at upscale parties as in a shady nightclub. When he hears whispers about resuming nuclear tests on the island, he begins to suspect that a conspiracy is being hatched right under his nose.
