Collaborative project Your Contemporary Demons (provisional title) – a dialogue about cultures and contemporary challenges

Over a period of little than two weeks, from November 28, 2023 until December 9th, 2023, four artists, eight students and three curators from Curaçao and the Netherlands, guided by Tirzo Martha and David Bade, collaborated at Instituto Buena Bista to co-create a work of art, exploring what the theme for Bosch Parade 2024 “Hedendaagse Demonen/Contemporary Demons” might mean to them personally.

Herewith we cordially invite you to the pre-presentation of the collaborative project Your Contemporary Demons on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 19.00 to 21.00 at The Curaçao Museum.

Bosch Parade is an art manifestation where works of art are not displayed in a museum but will sail across the Dommel River in Den Bosch for a period of four days.
The themes are usually inspired by the artworks of the medieval artist Jheronimus Bosch (1450-1516).

In preparation for this manifestation, the artists and art students will continue their co-creation in Den Bosch, which, after Bosch Parade, will also be exhibited at Willem twee Kunstruimte and The Curaçao Museum. Apart from each other, the group will also cooperate with various communities on Curaçao and in the Netherlands.
