We’re thrilled to invite you to the Kaya Kaya Festival on August 24th, 2024, from 16:00 to 02:00. This year’s festival promises a celebration of culture, art, and community, with diverse experiences waiting for you.
To make your festival experience better, we’ve implemented two entrances. Your contribution will be for one on the entrances: Nettobar or Hoogstraat. We recommend coordinating with your friends and family to select the same entrance, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable entry for everyone, as you can only enter the festival at the specific entrance shown on your contribution pass.

Kaya Kaya
Half a decade ago, three individuals united by a common passion embarked on a journey to create something lively and distinctive. What started as a modest concept to organize a street party in Otrobanda transformed into the vibrant movement now recognized as Kaya Kaya. Over the course of the last five years, Kaya Kaya has pinpointed four specific realms of impact: economic, physical, social, and cultural. Each impact contributed significantly to the ongoing revitalization efforts in Otrobanda. As the scope and impact developed the organization has grown and professionalized. For this edition we adapted the structure with a festival director and coordinators responsible for logistics, neighborhood, art, programming, experience, commercial and marketing and communication. Also Kaya Kaya works with volunteers and inhabitants.
