This month we will celebrate and remember Marjon Wegman with the opening of the retrospective exhibition PURE PASSION showcasing some of Marjon and Rien’s most exquisite artworks that they have created over the years.

As some of you already know, in March this year, Marjon Wegman unexpectedly passed away as we were planning an exhibition (together with her and Rien) and Marjon was enthusiastically working on some new pieces for this new exhibition.

Thanks to Rien and some very good friends, we’ve managed to secure some of Marjon’s unique artworks, like the colorful mosaics she started with, the sea grape leaves she loved to paint on, and of course some of her very exclusive and colorful ceramics inspired by the Curaçaoan nature she and Rien love so much.

Together with Rien’s impressive sculptures beautifully sculpted out of different-sized ‘Tafelberg’ stones, forever and always hiding a surprise in them until he brings it out of the stone, we have created a unique and beautiful exhibition showcasing the PURE PASSION of this couple united in their PURE PASSION for ART.
